Boise Valley POW/MIA Corporation Mission Statement 

Boise Valley POW/MIA Corporation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the public Awareness of the Prisoner Of War/Missing In Action issue. We reflect the highest possible personal and professional standards associated with this organization and are guided and directed by the National League of POW/MIA Families in Washington D.C. 

Our goals are to: 

• To increase public awareness and build support for the POW/MIA Issue. 

• Acquire funding to disperse to the "National League of Families of American Prisoners and Missing in Southeast Asia" and to the Veterans that reside at the "Idaho State Veterans Home" in Boise, Idaho. 

• Celebrate the camaraderie of Veterans and Patriots alike and to enjoy the Spirit of Freedom and Patriotism we are afforded as Americans. 

• Conduct a safe professional environment for all our Members, Brothers and Sisters and guests at any of our events.

Come out and join us for the presentation of donations made during the year and the Chrome at the Home event in September.
The money will be used to "Enhance the Veterans Way of Life" at the home.

Date; Friday December 12th @ 10 am

Dress: POW-MIA vest, hat and white shirt. 
 

 The ceremony, volunteer opportunities, and heartfelt mission remain the same — only now, this homegrown effort at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery ensures every dollar raised stays right here in Idaho, directly supporting our local veterans and their families.

Join us Saturday, December 13th at 1:00 PM
Idaho State Veterans Cemetery — lower level between the columbarium walls.

Parking Info:
Parking for participants, wreath guards, and parking lot volunteers will be available down by the office. Those attending to lay wreaths are asked to park in the lot outside the cemetery (weather permitting).
After the ceremony, volunteers are invited to help lay wreaths in honor of our heroes.

Merry Christmas everyone, we have scheduled the Christmas party on Friday the 19th of December 2025 between 6pm - 9pm at the Black Bear restaurant in the back room (holds 60). We will not be holding any BVPOW/MIA business just a prayer, pledge and welcome. Order what you want to eat, no cooking or dishes (we get enough of that the rest of the month). Hope to see everyone for the end of year thank you for all you do.

Bring dollar bills as we will have our two boxes floating around and try to win one off the boxes with prizes.
Bring a wrapped white elephant gift (no more than $20.00) and join the present pick or steal game. (not required but one gift for each person that would like to play, stealing is encouraged)
