Boise Valley POW*MIA Corporation Mission Statement 

Boise Valley POW*MIA Corporation is a all volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to the public Awareness of the Prisoner Of War/Missing In Action issue. We reflect the highest possible personal and professional standards associated with this organization and are guided and directed by the National League of POW/MIA Families in Washington D.C. 

Our goals are to: 

• To increase public awareness and build support for the POW/MIA Issue. 

• Acquire funding to disperse to the "National League of Families of American Prisoners and Missing in Southeast Asia" and to the Veterans that reside at the "Idaho State Veterans Home" in Boise, Idaho. 

• Celebrate the camaraderie of Veterans and Patriots alike and to enjoy the Spirit of Freedom and Patriotism we are afforded as Americans. 

• Conduct a safe professional environment for all our Members, Brothers and Sisters and guests at any of our events.

"Cover A Vet" 


On September 13th at 10:45 am the membership will gather at the Idaho Veterans Home in Boise for our annual "Cover a Vet' program. We will be giving out new POW/MIA hats to all the residents that day.

50/50 Raffle

On September 16th Meridian Speedway will present Open Wheel Wednesday.  Boise Valley POW*MIA Corp will be doing the 50/50 raffle that evening. All member and guests please be at the speedway at 5pm. 

 National POW/MIA Recognition Day

On September 18th at 6:30 pm the Boise Valley POW*MIA Corporation will present the
"Missing Man Table"
Ceremony.
The ceremony will take place at the "Village in Meridian" at the  Fountain Square.

When: Monday the 14th of Sept at 6:30 pm
Where: Legends Bar & Grill, 7609 W. Overland Rd, Boise, ID 83709
Why: Need at least 7 volunteers to fill positions on the committee. This fund raiser is for the Idaho State Veterans Home in Boise with funds raised at the event to help:

 "Enhance the Veterans Quality of Life"

Meeting held at the American Legion Hall, 22 W. Broadway, Meridian, Idaho.
Uniform of the night is:
Corporation vest
